"I really enjoyed the PEGASUS morning with Denise, Cowboy and Cal! It was something I looked forward to for days but I wasn't sure what to expect. Denise's ability to weave different aspects of life into horse training/riding was very interesting. It was a good way for me to look at where I am personally (or at least where I was at that time) and where I really want to be (where I hope to be going now). I realized that I needed to make some changes in myself, but in the daily clutter of life, I found it was hard for me to focus on any goal. But, I found that in the atmosphere of the friendly horse barn and out in nature, I was better able to really look at myself, see what changes I needed to make, and hopefully start on the road to a new(er) me!
My PEGASUS experience was really fun for me. Denise's knowledge of horses in general and her love for Cowboy and Cal made the event very enjoyable and I loved it! And the "boys" seemed to take it all in stride and were eager to please (even those of us who were less knowledgeable). We got to get out of "the box" & play in the sandbox with 2 of the most handsome & well-mannered guys I've met in Nebraska. Did I forget to tell you Cal & Cowboy are horses & my pals?
This was not one of the run-of-the-mill seminars that you try not to fall asleep while you put in the time. And after 25 years of lots of seminars & education classes, that's saying something! You learn techniques with the horses that apply to life, but in a fresh way.
Small classes allow time to work individually with the horses. (Although the non-horse people don't have to do any hands on if that's a concern - we had a couple of people who wanted to overcome a little of their fears & did so very well.) I think most had bonding experiences with Cal & Cowboy.
By lunch break we made new friends, learned a little more about some of our dear friends & realized it was already time to go...Isn't that a great endorsement all on it's own?"

"When I read a follow up email from Denise, I opened it on my Blackberry and made a mental note to respond to everyone in my herd tell you all what a wonderful experience the Saturday morning was and what great memories I had, but I was running to an appointment and would follow up later.

In spending time with them they observe us, learn what we expect from them and will respect us if we will reach them on their level.
