Empowering Women to Soar

"Denise - you are truly one of the most inspiring women I have ever met. You have a natural gift and passion for helping others re-discover what truly gives us inner strength and courage through one of the most magnificant animals on earth, the horse. They truly give us the wings we lack. Your enlightening message empowers and strengthens us in a way which leaves a lasting imprint of hope and love. Thank you for sharing your message and passion with us. As with the infamous saying and photo of "footprints", your message would be one which could be called "hoofprints"...one set of the horse hoofprints and one of which is ourselves becoming "one"..."

A Leadership Program For Women

A leadership program to help women discover their communication skills, leadership "trails" and problem solving abilities. Working with our horses, intuitive beings who mirror emotions, helps women become aware of anxieties and limiting beliefs that inhibit the ability to reach their goals.

Pegasus Leadership programs are held at Omega Paint & Quarter Horse Arena. Just 3 miles south of Papillion, Nebraska, it is a perfect retreat location.

Why Horse Partners

The horse's behavior is innate and instinctive. Being social, prey animals, their survival is dependent upon successful interaction with their herd. They learn through verbal and non-verbal communication. They form lasting relationships, not unlike women do everyday. Being intuitive, they show us instantly when we are fooling ourselves. They give us positive feedback and "herd" acceptance when shown our true leadership abilities and strengths.

The Horse Totem

The horse has long been a symbol of freedom, grace and strength. Those who have the horse as their animal totem or power animal are well aware of the powerful spiritual medicine associated with this noble and beautiful animal. For hundreds of years horses and humans have shared an alliance, one in which the horse helped provide transportation, pull plows or carry burdens. But even in this role of working for humans, the horse has within it a type of untamed power, one that harkens back to its wild ancestors. It is this wild, untamed spirit that lends so much magic to the medicine of the horse totem. <Read More>
